Once again Jairito strikes back with another great map. This is a really nice twist on the popular egypt theme, and can truly be called a brand new map, rather than an editted version of ze_egypt itself. The map’s length is extensive and allows for some branching paths if you know the secret passageways and shortcuts, to make replayability more diverse.

The map is great, and I think it’s balanced. I do not necessarily like the damage taken upon jumping over the fences, although it would be less problematic if you had VIP-services like double jump among others.

The map, however, got broken not due to its own design, but due to a terrible VIP-item that’s similar to a wall grenade. This grenade on Drunk Gaming community is insane, it’s ridicilous, it’s borderline insulting and should not exist. This item breaks any map. Admins might as well just teleport us all into a wall or rock so we can’t move and slay all T’s for free points. Get rid of that item, or else there’s no point playing zombie ‘escape’ if you can’t even move as a zombie.

GAMEPLAY MODE: Zombie Escape

Zombie Escape is a Source Mod that runs in CS, CS:S and CS:GO. The goal is to escape as a team (CT’s) from the infected (T) that get randomly chosen each round. During the escaping attempt, random and fixed events may happen that reward special items to aid in pushing back the zombies. If the team succeeds in surviving, they win and the zombies are slayed.

If the opposite is true, all humans will become infected and all hope is lost! Make sure to bring good teamwork to the table as you’ll need it to overcome some of the harder challenges such as boss battles and giant zombie hordes.
