Half-Life Alyx: G-man Scene [Ending + post-credits] (8K UHD – 60FPS – Surround 5.1)
!! SPOILER ALERT !!
The ending of Half-Life Alyx in 8K UHD resolution at 60FPS and with complete surround audio 5.1 as if you were wearing the headset. Recorded in No-VR as I don’t have a VR headset. Subtitles/Closed Captions included.
This is the final cutscene of Half-Life Alyx where we discover slightly more information about the G-man and what happened before the time Alyx even knew and met Gordon Freeman. It seems evident that the G-man can manipulate events and entities in different timelines to cather to his employer’s wishes. It’s here where we discover that Eli hasn’t died after all and Alyx is put in stasis instead. However the events will unfold in Half-Life 3 or Half-Life X it IS clear we will be playing as Gordon Freeman without Alyx, until the time the G-man sees it fit to put her in action again.
Another masterpiece of a game, of which I feel no other game comes even close despite having been released in 2020. This phenomenal ending leaves you wanting more, and I can’t wait for the next installment in the Half-Life universe.
== TECHNICAL INFORMATION ==
The video was recorded through the Source 2 engine’s native renderer. I first recorded a demo of this scene, then used a number of commands to stabilize the framerate and avoid stutter at 7860×4320 resolution. Audio was recorded through OBS for a true surround experience, although Source 2 doesn’t support or include LFE-effects.
