WWE 2K25: Underground Match Gameplay With Developer Commentary – IGN First

Here’s your first look at some WWE 2K25 Underground match gameplay, a brand new match type for the series, exclusively revealed by IGN.

WWE 2K25 Underground recreates the match type recently seen on NXT television and pits two WWE superstars against each other in a rope-less, lumberjack-surrounded ring. The lights are low, there are no pinfalls, and the vibe is extremely Fight Club-like. Visual Concepts’ Lead Combat Designer, Derek Donahue joins us to explain the match type in detail, along with some of the complications for bringing the Underground match type to life.
