Paramount has finally greenlit the long-gestating Call of Duty live-action movie. No plot, casting, or filmmaker details are available, but Paramount CEO David Ellison said they’re looking at Top Gun: Maverick for how to do a military-themed action blockbuster. In other news, Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 games for September have been revealed, and the highly-anticipated Hollow Knight: Silksong headlines the offerings. Other games include I Am Your Beast, Cataclismo, and more. And finally, Sony’s mulitplayer shooter Fairgame$ has lost another key developer. Creative Director Daniel Drapeau has left the team for WB Games Montreal. Jade Raymond, founder of Fairgame$ developer Haven Studios, left the company earlier this year.
