5 Things We Learned About Tron: Ares | Set Visit Recap

The latest installment in Disney’s stalwart sci-fi franchise, Tron: Ares grapples with the blurring line between our own real and digital worlds with a story that follows Ares (Jared Leto), a program that’s beginning to question the directives coming from his creator, Julian Dillinger (Evan Peters). IGN visited the set and got a first-hand look at a real-life lightcycle (the first ever built), the variety of different production techniques being blended to bring the digital world(s) to life, and even a rehearsal for a fight scene that was giving off some serious Star Wars vibes.

Tron: Ares is in theaters October 10th.
