1. How do I receive the money? How do I use the money?
The answer is PayPal! That’s why I show you how to set up the account, so that you can link it to a bank account to get the money from Paypal or you can ask PayPal for a debit card. That way you can spend the donation money with that debit card anywhere you want.
2. Do you need a credit card? Can you use a credit card?
That has nothing to do with PayPal whatsoever! Like I said before the money that is donated goes directly to pay pal and what you wish to do with that money is up to you! send it to your bank or spend it online like Amazon or whatever you see fit.
3. Is Paypal or Stramlabs a scam?
These are all very reliable services. Every single one of the top streamers has to use this same method and I’m sure if there was any risk they would not do it themselves. Unfortunately, there is really no other way to start accepting donations without setting up a PayPal account. Also, these services have been around longer than most of us have been alive. Also, our good old buddy Elon Musk was one of the persons who founded this website so I would say no it’s nowhere near a scam. But as always do some research if you don’t trust something.
How to set up your donations on twitch is very easy to do!
This is a video update from a past video on how to set up donations on twitch using your phone, computer, PC, laptop, or even a tablet. I go into detail showing you how to set up a PayPal account and I even explain all of the necessary steps. A lot of people asked if you should set up a business account on PayPal or a personal account on PayPal. Many people are asked if you have to be over 18 years old or if you can have a PayPal account if you are a teenager and all those answers are in the video. I then show you how to set up a stream labs account and how to connect it to your PayPal and to your twitch. After setting up a pay pal account a twitch account and a stream labs account I show you how to find a donation button and how to apply those donation buttons onto your twitch account. Finally, at the end of the video, I give you a demonstration showing you how easy it is to start accepting new donations.
