A map that currently has a total of two level, Forest is largely constructed out of extremely oversized props from the official CS:GO maps, and thus has an overall special feel to it. It actually looks nice overall, and thanks to CS:GO’s improved lighting it’s not all that badly lit. Some spots will have ugly shadows, for sure, but it could have been worse. The problem, however, is that you’ll often fall through some parts of those props as the collision models don’t follow the visual mesh just as nicely. Likewise you’ll also have the feeling that you’re floating in the air.

Overall it’s a smooth ride, but I feel that for now, the map is too easy. Level two feels hardly any different than the first in terms of defending and holding chokepoints, so it feel like these two levels could just have been glued together as a single difficulty instead.

Level two is entirely situated inside a large cave, of which you have to find the center that holds up the entire structure of the cave. Pretty neat idea, and I’d love to see more of such creative designs.
