The Mandalorian Season 2 Ep. 2’s Side Mission Means More Than You Think

The Star Wars live-action hit The Mandalorian Season 2 is back for a new chapter, and this time Mando might just have gotten in too deep. The Mandalorian and The Child (aka Baby Yoda) are headed to the Outer Rim in search of more Mandalorians but first, another side mission. Except this time, the side mission might mean a whole lot more to The Mandalorian Season 2 and the Star Wars galaxy at the same time. Join IGN Host Max Scoville as he breaks down Din Djarin’s latest adventure in this episode of IGN’s Canon Fodder.

When we first saw The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer, we knew we could expect a lot of big moments. We’ve already seen Boba Fett return in Chapter 9, and now fans are anxiously expecting the rumoured appearances by fan-favorites like Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren and Bo Katan Kryze. In Mandalorian Chapter 10, we are re-introduced to a dangerous creature in the Star Wars galaxy, originally created by Ralph McQuarrie. What is clear is that Din Djarin (aka The Mandalorian, the star of Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2) will need to find new Mandalorians if he’s ever going to complete his quest of returning The Child to his own kind, which many fans hope occurs at some point in The Mandalorian Season 2.. But instead of encountering any Mandalorians personally, Mando is headed to an Outer Rim world where he may just run into Sasha Banks’ character, which was teased before The Mandalorian Season 2 trailer even came out. But who is she? A Jedi? A Sith? A Mandalorian? Only time will tell. Hopefully we’ll find the answers to those questions in The Mandalorian Season 2. In the meantime come join us for Canon Fodder until the next Star Wars trailer drops.
