Taika Waititi Somehow Forgot Natalie Portman Was in Star Wars – IGN The Fix: Entertainment

In today’s Fix of entertainment news, Taika Waititi—acclaimed directed of Jojo Rabbit, Thor: Ragnarok, and the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder—somehow forgot that Natalie Portman, who plays Jane Foster in the MCU, was in Star Wars when he asked her to be in his upcoming Star Wars project. And it wasn’t some small throwaway role, either—she’s Padme Amidala! Waititi also provided a small update to his Star Wars film, telling Rolling Stone that it’s still in the script stages and hasn’t officially been greenlit yet. In DC superhero news, Warner Bros. has yet to officially reveal the villain for the upcoming Black Adam movie, but it may have leaked thanks to product shots of an upcoming toy. And it looks like the movie’s big bad is the devilish Sabbac, who will be played by Marwan Kenzari. We’ll see him go head-to-head with Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam this October.
